Welcome back to the M&M Show!
Today we'll be showing you some pictures from our trip to Florida, with an ongoing commentary from your two favorite dolls!
That's controversial. Still, this is totally going to be fun! We had a blast while traveling the hours and hours and hours....
...and hours and hours....
... and hours and hours...
Get the point yet?
Yeah, well.... let's get started!
Oh, and be prepared to see some of the worst pictures you've ever seen in your entire young (or old) life. They're pretty bad.
Hey, they're not that bad! They're just typical... travel photos. Like, travel-in-a-minivan-squished-between-lots-of-bags-and-boxes-of-crafts-and-people-and-snacks.
The snacks I shall forgive. The rest of the stuff? How dare they!

So, with us on this trip was Elly. We worked on our Bible Bee verses for a while, and quizzed each other.
Yeah, it was pretty fun! Madi is really bad at it.
Hey! Anyways, just as a note - if you don't see a lot of pictures of me, it's 'cause I was taking all of them. Or at least most of them..
Oh, don't you love my hair in this picture?! It was so cute!
Oh, this isn't the best picture of me.
Or me. It makes me look fat. Oh well.
I remember this game! That was super duper fun - license plate searching! We looked for different states on license plates and colored in the right state on the map!
That was funny, watching ya'll craning your necks every which way to try to find - what state was that one?
I think it was Missouri. But don't you dare say we looked like ostriches!
I wasn't going to say that-
Good.
I was going to say you looked like giraffes.
Madi!!!
Yeah, and there you were really having trouble tugging that backpack from in between the seats. It was funny.
Stop it! Whatever. Anyways, we brought along those books - Melody and Rebecca, I think.
Yeah, we had to share the Rebecca one.
Elly got that one all to herself 'cause you and I both wanted 'Meet Rebecca'.
That was a pain in the neck. Literally.
Oh!! Selfies!!
You guys stole my phone!
Yeah, but then you got it back and we took a um... it's not a selfie, right? A groupie. Uh-huh.
Ooh, first rest stop! Light4theLord took that picture..
And that one.
I remember seeing those gorgeous crepe myrtles from the car!
I do too!
Ohmygoodness, those dark chocolate cherries were so amazing!
Yesssss! Absolute deliciousness!
Heh, a selfie again. Mia, you were like totally not paying attention.
Whatevs.
Isn't that the second rest stop? You got out at that one, right?
Uh-huh! It was fun, right when we entered Florida! That dolphin monument statue thing was really cool!
Oh, and Light4theLord went to that aquarium once, didn't she?
Yeah, she did but she didn't take any of the dolls.
Bummer. I wasn't even with her then, and neither were you and Kit.
I don't think Katie was either.
Oh, but look at this picture! there were these cool print thingies and I stood beside them!
Florida panther? Really? That's cool!
Yup. Oh, see? I was right - it's the Florida welcome center place.
I love this picture of you Mia!
I like this one 'cause you can really see the sign behind me. There were a lot of people waiting to get their picture taken there.
Those gorgeous palm trees.... *dies*
You took that one on your phone, didn't you?
Yup. I did.
Hehe, I remember that really cool grapefruit juice! It was kinda weird, but good!
And see when Elly took my glasses 'cause she thought they were cute?
It was funny too, 'cause she couldn't see anything through them!
Yeah, but when you borrowed them for that photostory, you said they were fine.
Eh, just a little magnified.
It was sweet of you and Light4theLord to bring us back some of that juice.
Ha, that's a good one.
A good what?
A good pun. Get it? Sweet of you?
Yeah. I get it. Huh. Oh, that's when Light4theLord got that terribly angled photo of us and that postcard/poster thing.
Snacks again! Elly and I shared the raisins, didn't we? And what did you get?
Ya'll did get the raisins. I got...
CHOCOLATE! Only problem was that there was more nut than chocolate.

Anyways, that's all for now!
That's just the one day trip. More to come soon, including the meetup-
EEEK!
Photoshoots at the beach...
Courtesy of yours truly.
And a sleepover...
Who on earth named it a sleepover? It's more like night-of-no-sleep.
Well, adieu!
Huh? Oh, right! Bye!
So cool!
ReplyDeleteI like license plate searching too, it's fun!
Those dolls care a little crazy, aren't they? XD
Thanks! We love it! Uh, yeah. He he. ~ Madi.
DeleteThis looks like fun! I'll try to stop by the welcome center next time we go. I love Florida!
ReplyDeleteP.S. Did you see a store at the welcome center? Or, is that the Visitor's center?
It was! You should! We do too. :) Oh, I don't know if it was officially the welcome center, so I guess it'd be a visitor's center?! ~ Mia
DeleteOK, thanks for the answer. I remember from one of my trips that the visitors center had a store that I've been dying to go to. I can't wait to see more of your trip!
DeleteDiamond
:) You're always welcome! Oh, that's neat! I do know that they served some really cool orange and grapefruit juice.
DeleteCool! I'll have to keep that in mind if I go. One store that you should definitely go to if you get the chance, is Uniqlo. They have great clothing for decent prices. I got a really nice dress shirt for $10! Its at Disney Springs, in Orlando. I always bug my parents to go to Disney Springs just to go there. You should totally try it! Do you have any suggestions on places to go in Florida?
DeleteDiamond
Yes, do! Ooh, fun! That sounds cool! :) If you ever go to Mexico Beach (about 45 minutes from Panama City) then go paddleboarding - it's amazing!
Deletewow! that looks so fun! Can't wait to see the beach photos :)
ReplyDeleteIt definitely was fun! hope you like them!
DeleteRoad trips are the best! And yours ended up at an aquarium, so cool!
ReplyDeleteLove the grapefruit juice cup. One of the most fun things about traveling in Florida.
~Xyra
Aren't they?! Yes, it was a couple of years ago that we got to go to Clearwater. This time it was for a family reunion (and meeting Madi!). Definitely!
DeleteOur trips to Florida usually focused on visiting a friend of the family who had relocated south, but we usually included Disney and other attractions too. Sadly, some of my favorites are now closed. :-(
DeleteOh, that's fun! Aw, I hate it when stuff closes.. :(
