She was a dreamer, one with a good imagination and wide horizons. Some of her happiest days as a teenager were spent taking photos of dolls, lying in the street to get the perfect angle. Her dolls were like built in friends, companions wherever she went, on trips and vacations and outings.  As she grew up, Julia grew busier and busier, and high school was a lot of work. But she had goals and she did everything she could to reach them. One of them was graduating two years early, which took up a lot of time and energy. After hours upon hours of studying, she finally graduated.  Taking a gap year beginning in 2020, the weirdest year of the century, she had no lack of other thi

The Dolls N' All Chat Page!

I got this idea from Madi, who started a chat page on her blog. I thought it'd be cool to have one on mine, so I asked if she would mind if I used her idea, and she said she didn't! Anyways, I'd love to hear what you think of my blog, and any constructive criticism or ideas on how to make it better, who what to add! Or, just drop a comment about anything about dolls, and I'll reply!

    1. You're always welcome, Madison! I'll keep praying- even during my lesson (which we're supposed to leave for like, right now, so I'd better get off!) especially. God's got this all under control! There's a plan for you, I'm sure! We're family - isn't that so cool? Hundreds of believers around the world - and we're all a family in Christ! My favorite song right now is 'You're the Water, You're the Shore' (a Christian song) by Todd Smith (Selah) and Ellie Holcombe. Thanks for keeping me updated!

    3. That's WONDERFUL!!!!! If you can, listen to it somehow (and the rest on the Insanity of God CD - name is strange, but all the songs are absolutely wonderful!), and also 'Until Your Will is Done'! I love them!

    1. Thank you! Ready for a long reply? Okay, here goes. It's actually really easy! Do (1) you want to put one picture at the top, or (2) collage like mine at the top? If you want one picture, all you have to do is go to 'Layout' on the left sidebar of the dashboard (the newly revised one) and go to Header. Click 'edit' on the lower right hand corner and choose upload image. Tada! If you want a collage, just make one at picmonkey or fotor and do the same!

Me too... I wonder... How could I possibly test that? Anyways, I think I'd like to. My brother actually was working on one this afternoon and is going to post it on his blog soon! It's the first SM of the family! I didn't realize it took THAT many pictures. :)

  10. Make a Stop Motion! Make a Stop Motion! Make a Stop Motion!

I bet if you made a Stop Motion it would be MUCH better than the one I made years ago. Here's a tip, use a tripod and don't try to take few pictures. Move the dolls VERY slowly, not like I did. I bet you'll get tons of comments saying to make a stop motion!

  13. Hi L4TL, I have a quick question for you. I saw in comments(hm, AG Doll Awesome maybe?) that you were giving lists of names you considered for a few of your dolls. I was wondering, have you ever considering renaming Mia? What names do you think would be good for her?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Oh yes, I remember! I think it was a list of names that I just keep around, in case I get a new doll or want a new character in my stories. :) I was suggesting names for Samantha's new doll, Valerie. I actually haven't ever even thought about that. I've developed her as Mia so much that I don't know if I could change her name without switching back! :) I do think she'd be cute as Lucy, Heather, Holly, Amber, Savannah, Jenna, Eleyna, Charis, or Marissa. :)
