  ~ a life update in the form of a photostory ~ this is truly Julia's aesthetic, entirely by accident, most of her closet is blue and white stripes. she's always either wearing her airplane propeller necklace or her dream necklace, wearing double dutch braids.  Once upon a time, there was a girl named Julia. She was a dreamer, one with a good imagination and wide horizons. Some of her happiest days as a teenager were spent taking photos of dolls, lying in the street to get the perfect angle. Her dolls were like built in friends, companions wherever she went, on trips and vacations and outings.  As she grew up, Julia grew busier and busier, and high school was a lot of work. But she had goals and she did everything she could to reach them. One of them was graduating two years early, which took up a lot of time and energy.  Madi's Musings (A Journal) - Day 3, January 18, 2017
Before we left, I brushed my teeth as though my life depended on it.
I paced nervously around the room...

I think it got on Light4theLord's nerves.
"Just sit down!" she told me.

I sat down.

For a few minutes, that is.

I squeezed my eyes shut. "I wish I could just get it over with." I whispered. I began pacing again.
 
I nearly jumped when I felt a hand on my shoulder. The assistant-lady-person told me to come on back.
Once back there, I sat stiffly in the starchy white chair.

"Just lay back and relax." The lady told me. Ha, are you kidding? Relax?!

 
ONE HOUR LATER....
 

I looked into the mirror... and found it wasn't as bad s I thought.
 

Well? Do you like my new braces?

"Oh, and don't forget your headgear." the orthodontist assistant lady handed it to me.
*facepalm* Noooooo!!!!
"Yes ma'am." I took it meekly.

Personally, headgear is VERY bothersome. Annoying. Frustrating. IN THE WAY. But anyways... on the way home we stopped and I got..
DELICIOUSNESS! And all because I got braces (lucky me!). I think I'll be on a sugar high. Cheesecake brownie, ice cream...

YUM!

PERFECT for my almost numb mouth.
*slurp*


It. Was. Great. (and I didn't have to share!)

*cries* It's gone...
Well, tomorrow is just.. school. I might skip a couple days but still post 'cause my party is on Saturday and we have to get ready for it. I'm excited though! I've come up with something else I need - a camera bag! I'm really hoping to get my own blog. Name ideas?

 I'm also hoping to partner with Julie, Amy, and Light4theLord to make an Etsy shop this summer. THAT'D BE SO MUCH FUN! Anyways, I'll see you soon! Maybe not tomorrow or the next day, but soon! Saturday's party is in the afternoon, so I probably won't post pics for a couple days. I AM excited though! 'Cause I get to wear the traditional pink birthday girl dress!

    I hope your mouth feels better soon! I literally laughed out loud about the brushing your teeth like your life depended on it! I can relate! :D

      Katie, you're so sweet! I think it'd be fun. Thanks... it's still pretty sore. I'm currently living on mashed potatoes, smoothies, ice cream, and chicken soup. Light4theLord said it's only for a couple days (thank goodness!). :D I think everyone who has ever been to the dentist or orthodontist has done that at least once in their life! :D
      I've been thinking about that. I'm not really sure if I want to remember all of that, but I'm almost sure it'll be one of my first posts. Ya'll deserve to know, even if it is kinda sad. But I'm happy now! :D I love my new family!

    Ah, braces! And the headgear...I really did not like my headgear - it had the neck strap AND a bonnet type strap. ARGH! So glad that is over. :) Take care of those teeth and braces!

      Thanks! I'm feeling a bit better.. :D IT WAS! Well, I think I'm completely sugar-ed out. Cheesecake brownie, the DELICIOUSNESS, cheesecake, ice cream, chocolate (at my party), cake today, and I still have an entire box of dark chocolate Hershey kisses. I'm dying for tomorrow to come so I can legally have my own blog!! Yay! I'm really seriously thinking about that this summer!

      I'm so glad you like it! No, Grace left Dolls N' All early last year and returned to her home so her journal may or may not happen again. If it does, it'll be a while.
