life ~ a photostory

~ a life update in the form of a photostory ~ this is truly Julia's aesthetic, entirely by accident, most of her closet is blue and white stripes. she's always either wearing her airplane propeller necklace or her dream necklace, wearing double dutch braids.  Once upon a time, there was a girl named Julia. She was a dreamer, one with a good imagination and wide horizons. Some of her happiest days as a teenager were spent taking photos of dolls, lying in the street to get the perfect angle. Her dolls were like built in friends, companions wherever she went, on trips and vacations and outings.  As she grew up, Julia grew busier and busier, and high school was a lot of work. But she had goals and she did everything she could to reach them. One of them was graduating two years early, which took up a lot of time and energy. After hours upon hours of studying, she finally graduated.  Taking a gap year beginning in 2020, the weirdest year of the century, she had no lack of other thi

Hi, My Name Is...

Hi, my name is Kitrina. Kitrina Lynne Meltsner. I'm ten, but I'll be eleven in September. Well, September 3, that is. You can call me Kit, if you want to.
So, really, who am I? I'm not a DOTM....
Well, technically, I still belong to Jaimie. But, I'll be staying with the Dolls N' All family for the next couple of years, so I get to have a 'Family Dolls' profile (coming up soon) and get called one of Light4theLord's dolls.

My real hobby is academics. I love, love, love studying. It's my favorite pastime. Reading up on history, creating science experiments, reading biographies, diagramming sentences, solving algebra problems - oh yeah! Did I forget to mention that I'm four years ahead in school? I'll be going into ninth grade this fall. And yes, I'll only be eleven. But can you imagine how much fun I'm going to have? I've already been checking pre-algebra books out of the library, and I just recently upgraded to real algebra books. They're so fun! Don't you agree that there isn't a single thing better in this entire world than solving an algebra problem?

Oh, I also love creating spelling bees with my new sisters, except that they're not so enthusiastic about it, especially in summer.

Speaking of summer, it's a great time to study and play pranks on people. Katie and I just recently pulled off this great humongous water balloon trap. It was so funny! So, Julie was headed to the mall and we strung a whole bunch of water balloons so that as soon as she opened her wardrobe, she'd be splattered. It was great.

And then, of course, there's the classic saltwater trick. That was hysterical. A couple of our sisters had just come inside from a hot day and I handed them some ice-cold glasses of water... full of saltwater, that is. It was extremely funny.

Anyways, I am really excited about posting on here. Maybe I can help out and umm... teach you algebra or something.

I'm definitely not the best at writing - that's Sam's domain - but I love learning other languages! And, what's better than memorizing Bible verses for the National Bible Bee?
