life ~ a photostory

~ a life update in the form of a photostory ~ this is truly Julia's aesthetic, entirely by accident, most of her closet is blue and white stripes. she's always either wearing her airplane propeller necklace or her dream necklace, wearing double dutch braids.  Once upon a time, there was a girl named Julia. She was a dreamer, one with a good imagination and wide horizons. Some of her happiest days as a teenager were spent taking photos of dolls, lying in the street to get the perfect angle. Her dolls were like built in friends, companions wherever she went, on trips and vacations and outings.  As she grew up, Julia grew busier and busier, and high school was a lot of work. But she had goals and she did everything she could to reach them. One of them was graduating two years early, which took up a lot of time and energy. After hours upon hours of studying, she finally graduated.  Taking a gap year beginning in 2020, the weirdest year of the century, she had no lack of other thi

How To Rock Pink - The Paisley Look Book

IMG_4350.JPG

Hey everybody!  It’s your DOTM, Paisley!  My Mom LOVES to dress me up in pink.  In fact the outfit I’m wearing right now is one of the main reasons she bought me!  We ordered this from Amazon a while ago, it’s a tutu with KITTY in a TUTU.  Double the Tutu!  When she ordered this about a year ago, she knew she had to, but since it doesn’t look quite as fabulous on my sisters, she wanted a doll she could dress up in this.

I pulled out quite a few clothes from my wardrobe, and I’m going to show you how no matter what your personality is, everyone can rock pink!  So introducing…

The Paisley Lookbook!

The perect look for an on the go girl!  On the top we have a tank top from AG.   It’s Samantha’s favorite because it has a camera and little maracas and sunglasses on it-just like California!  Then we paired it with these bright blue leggings the her grandma sewed for her.

For a more casual look, we paired this pastel Our Generation top with American Girl Shorts.  I love the embroidery details!

Here’s another casual cutie, the pink tee sewn by Grandma and the shorts sewn by Samantha!

We have a more retro outfit now!  The top sewn by Grandma and the skirt from American Girl.  The golden buckle adds extra cuteness!

It’s not too cold where we live right now in California, but if it was this pastel look would be just the right thing!  The knit sweater is from Our Generation, I liked it because casual sweaters are quite a trend right now!  And then Grandma knitted a perfectly matching pink scarf!  The leggings are from the AG winter warm set.

This has GOT to be one of my Fave dresses ever, a western style dress sewn by Grandma again!  I love it because the skirt has some adorable ruffles.

Of course, the fanciest look in my opinion, is this outfit.  The kitten even has a tiara!

Do you think you can rock pink?  I think you can!  I have a little challenge for you- try putting your doll in all pink pieces, and see what you come up with!  You can email me a picture of her if you want, agdollawesome@gmail.com

Thanks guys!
What was your favorite look today?
