life ~ a photostory

~ a life update in the form of a photostory ~ this is truly Julia's aesthetic, entirely by accident, most of her closet is blue and white stripes. she's always either wearing her airplane propeller necklace or her dream necklace, wearing double dutch braids.  Once upon a time, there was a girl named Julia. She was a dreamer, one with a good imagination and wide horizons. Some of her happiest days as a teenager were spent taking photos of dolls, lying in the street to get the perfect angle. Her dolls were like built in friends, companions wherever she went, on trips and vacations and outings.  As she grew up, Julia grew busier and busier, and high school was a lot of work. But she had goals and she did everything she could to reach them. One of them was graduating two years early, which took up a lot of time and energy. After hours upon hours of studying, she finally graduated.  Taking a gap year beginning in 2020, the weirdest year of the century, she had no lack of other thi

Yoga Lesson! ~ A DOTM Post ~

Hi everybody! It’s Lily! Today I went to a yoga lesson with my sister Bella! Lol sometimes I need to get away from my crazy sister Rebecca! It’s always great to take a well needed break and find your center again.
I bought my yoga mat, along with my water bottle.

The yoga poses were kind of hard at first, but once I got into it I started being more balanced and it became really relaxing! I found out that I’m better at balancing on my left leg then my right leg though haha!
After warming up with some productivity sparking yoga, we did some power yoga!

The hardest part was definitely holding a plank for a minute!

The instructor said to try your hardest not to stop, and even though I was basically crying, I didn’t stop during the whole 20 minute power yoga session! At the end I was sweating like crazy! But I was really proud of myself.
And finally, the instructor told us to do 10 minute relaxation yoga to cool down and finish the whole session.

It felt really good, and afterwards I felt very refreshed and ready to take on the day!
So then I packed up, and put my sweats on. Did you know that sweating is a way your body keeps you cool, and can make you lose calories?
But for now it's to keep my muscles warm and relaxed after that tough workout!

At the end of yoga, the instructor gave us a schedule for more sessions that we could attend! I definitely want to go to more of these, it was so much fun!
Bella didn’t like it that much though, so I guess yoga will just be me time!
This yoga sessions was perfect, and I can’t wait to do more!
Thank you so much for reading this DOTM post!
