life ~ a photostory

~ a life update in the form of a photostory ~ this is truly Julia's aesthetic, entirely by accident, most of her closet is blue and white stripes. she's always either wearing her airplane propeller necklace or her dream necklace, wearing double dutch braids.  Once upon a time, there was a girl named Julia. She was a dreamer, one with a good imagination and wide horizons. Some of her happiest days as a teenager were spent taking photos of dolls, lying in the street to get the perfect angle. Her dolls were like built in friends, companions wherever she went, on trips and vacations and outings.  As she grew up, Julia grew busier and busier, and high school was a lot of work. But she had goals and she did everything she could to reach them. One of them was graduating two years early, which took up a lot of time and energy. Bowie and I were careful not to be too loud, my sisters had not the slightest idea of the conversations that went on between us…

I looked at him, thinking of an answer to his question, ¨Well, all the princesses wear nice dresses while they go on adventures, so why on Earth can I?¨

I was almost cut short by nearly falling into a muddy pool, but I wobbled over to a huge tree root peeking out of the lawn to sit on.  And while the bottoms of my shoes were dirty, I still looked amazing, if I could say so myself.

I quickly propped Bowie up in front of me, and we began to talk to one another.  We talked about life, how the mini dolls were treating him, how my sisters were treating me, and we also talked about how much we were craving skittles at the moment.

¨Bowie, do you think I'll ever grow up?¨I asked, interrupting him as he spoke about how the orange skittles were better than the blue ones.

¨Paisley, you and I are forever.¨
We looked at each other.

¨I think so too Bowie.¨
