life ~ a photostory

~ a life update in the form of a photostory ~ this is truly Julia's aesthetic, entirely by accident, most of her closet is blue and white stripes. she's always either wearing her airplane propeller necklace or her dream necklace, wearing double dutch braids.  Once upon a time, there was a girl named Julia. She was a dreamer, one with a good imagination and wide horizons. Some of her happiest days as a teenager were spent taking photos of dolls, lying in the street to get the perfect angle. Her dolls were like built in friends, companions wherever she went, on trips and vacations and outings.  As she grew up, Julia grew busier and busier, and high school was a lot of work. THE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN RUTHIE SMITHENS AND REBECCA RUBIN

Rebecca Rubin and Ruthie Smithens are two dolls from two different time periods, though not that far apart. Rebecca’s time period, 1914, is merely eighteen years before Ruthie’s time period, 1932. While there are similarities, such as the left side part and hair curls, there are also some minor differences. Note the following diagram:

Ruthie Smithens               Rebecca Rubin:

Similarities                          Differences                        Differences

Hair               Curly, left side part          Dark brown                          honey brown

Eyes                                                          Grey                                        hazel

Mold                                                         Classic mold                          Josefina mold

Skin                light, no freckles

Eyebrows                                                 original                                 feathered (see picture)

Both dolls are really pretty, and pretty much the only thing similar (unless you just glance) is their skin and hair, which is pretty much half the doll!
