  ~ a life update in the form of a photostory ~ this is truly Julia's aesthetic, entirely by accident, most of her closet is blue and white stripes. she's always either wearing her airplane propeller necklace or her dream necklace, wearing double dutch braids.  Once upon a time, there was a girl named Julia. She was a dreamer, one with a good imagination and wide horizons. Some of her happiest days as a teenager were spent taking photos of dolls, lying in the street to get the perfect angle. Her dolls were like built in friends, companions wherever she went, on trips and vacations and outings.  As she grew up, Julia grew busier and busier, and high school was a lot of work. But she had goals and she did everything she could to reach them. One of them was graduating two years early, which took up a lot of time and energy. After hours upon hours of studying, she finally graduated.  Taking a gap year beginning in 2020, the weirdest year of the century, she had no lack of other thi

I did this photoshoot last summer, inspired by Brandon Woelfel's style, and I've liked this song by Nick Fradiani so... here you go!

it is a beautiful life, and I'm so thankful for all that God has taught me in this past year, reminded me of His goodness and provision, shown me His sovereignty and faithfulness. 
I know life isn't always sunshine and yellow flowers - and I've had it easy. I've had my heart broken, I've sobbed on my floor, I've been so angry at pain, I've felt betrayed, I've been lonely on the couch at midnight -
but God is good.
He is, always has been and always will be. And He is with us on the days that are pouring rain and dark, seemingly endless clouds, and with us on the days that are golden warmth full of smiles.

      Thank youuu, Madi!! I really enjoyed doing this photoshoot last year! (it's too rainy to do anything right now -_-) Sometimes the imperfections add to the beauty!!

    I like it! Your pictures are so pretty! American girl does not do Nanea justice in her catalog photos. She honestly looks creepy in some of them.

      Thank you so much, Haley!! AMEN TO THAT! I didn't even like Nanea until I saw some AGIG photos and then I absolutely fell in love with her - she's hard to photograph but when you get it right, it's so satisfying :D I still feel like I don't do her justice!!
