life ~ a photostory

~ a life update in the form of a photostory ~ this is truly Julia's aesthetic, entirely by accident, most of her closet is blue and white stripes. she's always either wearing her airplane propeller necklace or her dream necklace, wearing double dutch braids.  Once upon a time, there was a girl named Julia. She was a dreamer, one with a good imagination and wide horizons. Some of her happiest days as a teenager were spent taking photos of dolls, lying in the street to get the perfect angle. Her dolls were like built in friends, companions wherever she went, on trips and vacations and outings.  As she grew up, Julia grew busier and busier, and high school was a lot of work. But she had goals and she did everything she could to reach them. One of them was graduating two years early, which took up a lot of time and energy. After hours upon hours of studying, she finally graduated.  Taking a gap year beginning in 2020, the weirdest year of the century, she had no lack of other thi

6 Tips on How to Be a Doll Celebrity

Welcome to '6 Tips on How to Be a Doll Celebrity'!

I'm your host, Juliette Brooke Albright, the DNA fashionista!
This is the post to come to if YOU would like to be a doll celeb! We have collaborated with Samantha, Saige, and Maryellen of AGDollAwesome to bring you the best of the best!
Be prepared to shine!

*****************************************

1. Look the part.

Always wear the most fashionable clothes. Start new trends. Never EVER leave home without your makeup on. Don sunglasses to go with the 'secret celebrity' look.

****************************************
2. Show off.
Whenever, wherever, walk like you're on the runway. Take confident strides. Add in some hair flips, and frequently wave at no one in particular and give photo-perfect smiles.

3. Be the star of all pictures.
Constantly take random selfies - everywhere: in the middle of the road, while you're in the car, in front of a pretty colored wall, by yourself, on the floor, in a tree, with friends...

Have siblings or friends come up with a phone or camera and ask for a picture with you. Either snob them off, or gladly consent! Soon you'll have strangers flocking!

****************************************
4. Spend lots of money.
Only shop at the most expensive places. Eat out at the most expensive restaurants. Walk around with tons of shopping bags full of... nothing.

***************************************
5. Be extremely active on social media, to the point of obsession.
Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, GooglePlus - EVERYWHERE.

Here are some ideas: post about the most random and boring things - what you're eating, what shoes you're wearing, how long it took you to do you hair.

Post plenty (actually, an excessive amount) of selfies.

Go to the extreme by taking selfies of you washing your hands, tying your shoes, eating breakfast, and walking out of your bedroom.

Post videos of you rambling... and rambling.. and rambling about what was included (or excluded) in your breakfast diet or how you made (or didn't make) your bed that morning.
Never EVER post anything political (quite the touchy subject) but always cheer sports teams on and ridicule other celebrities!

***************************************
6. Always be accepting an award.

Whenever someone gives you something, act like you're accepting an Oscar or other award. Thank your cat, thank EVERYONE and ramble on and on and on and on and on...
