life ~ a photostory

~ a life update in the form of a photostory ~ this is truly Julia's aesthetic, entirely by accident, most of her closet is blue and white stripes. she's always either wearing her airplane propeller necklace or her dream necklace, wearing double dutch braids.  Once upon a time, there was a girl named Julia. She was a dreamer, one with a good imagination and wide horizons. Some of her happiest days as a teenager were spent taking photos of dolls, lying in the street to get the perfect angle. Her dolls were like built in friends, companions wherever she went, on trips and vacations and outings.  As she grew up, Julia grew busier and busier, and high school was a lot of work. But she had goals and she did everything she could to reach them. One of them was graduating two years early, which took up a lot of time and energy. After hours upon hours of studying, she finally graduated.  Taking a gap year beginning in 2020, the weirdest year of the century, she had no lack of other thi

Birthday Gift Review #1: From Sarah and Lucy

Okay, lemme vent for just a sec before I get started on this next wonderful review! The computer is CRAZY slow. It is literally DRIVING ME CRAZY! I am very aggravated at the internet right now. Yes, I'm thankful, but I'd be more thankful if it was a bit faster.... no, a LOT faster. Yesterday (I'm not kidding or exaggerating) it took about four hours for sixteen-eighteen pictures, and then from 12 to 6 or 7 for about 30. AUGH!
Okay, I'm ready to start.

Birthday Gift Review #4
This wonderful, amazing, awesome gift was from Lucy and Sarah.
Most clever gift ever. Ready?

Yup, everyone knows I'm a chocoholic, including Lucy and Sarah. Believe it or not, that was over a week ago and I still have some left. There were over fifty of those things! I forgot to count at the beginning but.... See that little glass jar that is the perfect size? She stuffed it with chocolate and it seriously took me several minutes to pry them all out. I mean, to help the situation (of course, it was to HELP the situation), I had to eat a couple, but.....
Plus, the washi tape is Light4theLord's FAVORITE color, and my third favorite!

Ahhhh... beautiful chocolate. It's lovely. It's delicious. It's dark chocolate, what else?
I love chocolate: from white chocolate to milk chocolate to 85% dark chocolate.
Oh, and the wrappers are my second favorite color. *grins*

I got to model the dress (though it looks much better on Elly. She tried it on several days ago, along with MY new birthday necklace), with fits perfectly! It's a satiny-emerald green dress that is just PERFECT! It's like, one of the only green things we have. Us dolls have about three green things that I can think of, and for some reason, all the others are really tired of this one green dress that's so pretty. Julie told me it's because it was one of the beginning dresses and everyone had to wear it so many times that it got tiresome. It's pretty though!

My. favorite. shoes. ever.
I'm trying tons of outfits with these! They're like, miniature L4TL boots! They don't have that slit in the back, they zip of the side!
Tan, the color that goes with a lot of stuff...
Fluffy! Yes, winter-y (though it feels like spring outside. pictures coming soon!) - I'm totally taking these on the ski trip!

Front view.
Aren't they just ADORABLE?!?!!

I love them so much! Thank you, thank you, thank you Sarah and Lucy!

  1. What's your favorite color, Madi? For some reason I thought it was the same as L4TL's (Turquoise right?). Looks like a very nice birthday present! :)

  2. I love those boots!! Did you get them from hobby lobby (Marigold Market?) I have some a lot like them. Here's the review if you want to read it. https://dolltasticallyfun.com/2016/03/09/review-marigold-market-boots/
I always put the shoes on opposite than you have them, so that the zipper is on the inside of the doll's foot. It looks good like that though.
