And welcome back to Part 3- the music session!

Noelle's POV, Monday, August 8, 2016
We didn't record our music session, which was probably a good thing. It was pretty funny, with Katie on the tribal drum, Julie on the guitar, Elizabeth on the flute, me on the violin, and Amy and Sam singing. I'm pretty glad we didn't record it, or take pictures. I mean, it wasn't bad, it just wasn't wonderful either. We all had some good laughs. Anyways, I didn't want one bit of my camp experience to go unphotographed, so I asked Josie to take pictures of me and the violin, knowing she'd do the best of anyone. And I was right- you'll love these pictures as much as I do! Plus, it's for ya'll out there who prefer photoshoots. Anyways, a pictures says a thousand words.. or something like that.
Fun Fact: That part of the violin that's swiveled is called the scroll!
I love the sound of this violin!
I was so afraid I was going to drop it on the concrete!
I like this aerial shot, don't you?
Focus, Noelle, focus!
This one isn't bad!
It was pretty relaxing, actually!
Anyways, I hope you enjoyed these! Now I have to let Julie take over...

Julie's POV, Monday, August 8, 2016
I know Noelle already explained about all of this, but all I can say is that I really had fun on this guitar! Enjoy!
Isn't Josie the best photographer? Not to mention the subject...
Don't you think it kinda looks like a cello here?
I guess this one's supposed to be focused on the grass, Josie? Personally, I think I'm much more interesting.. I mean, the guitar is. Right...
Okay, so long for now, but the third musketeer on our team went ahead and changed into a different dress 'cause she liked it more. Why she liked it instead of my summer dress is beyond me!

Elizabeth's POV, Monday, August 8, 2016
I asked Josie to take pictures of me too, but at some points the lighting got weird, so I apologize in advance if they are too dark or light! Hope you like these!
This is one of the dark ones...
That's the sun in the background!!
I really like my new flute!
Just be glad I didn't do the whole thing with the flute down my back (I've never gotten that pose, someone please explain!) like another spinal cord...
I feel like I should be singing Christmas carols...
I really like this one!

DIY Doll Flute
You will need:
hot glue sticks
hot glue gun
straw
foil
scissors
gray beads
Cut the foil into the length of the straw and carefully wrap it around, gluing it at strategic places.
Then add some pony beads for those little key thingys (you can tell I don't really play the flute, but I do play the violin and uke!) and there you have it!
Now go play 'Hot Cross Buns'!
I wonder how many instruments I can play that song on... oh wait, Elizabeth just said that's not a legit song. Is it?

If you made a flute, post pictures or send them to me! You'll get a point for your team if you do! Which picture was your favorite? If you have played 'Hot Cross Buns' on any of these three instruments (or the ukulele!) you can also earn a point for your team! It's based on the honor system. Plus, I didn't say you had to play it perfectly! The trying is what really matters, right?
Those little instruments are really cute .
ReplyDeleteThanks! I got the guitar at Dollar Tree!
