life ~ a photostory

~ a life update in the form of a photostory ~ this is truly Julia's aesthetic, entirely by accident, most of her closet is blue and white stripes. she's always either wearing her airplane propeller necklace or her dream necklace, wearing double dutch braids.  Once upon a time, there was a girl named Julia. She was a dreamer, one with a good imagination and wide horizons. Some of her happiest days as a teenager were spent taking photos of dolls, lying in the street to get the perfect angle. Her dolls were like built in friends, companions wherever she went, on trips and vacations and outings.  As she grew up, Julia grew busier and busier, and high school was a lot of work. But she had goals and she did everything she could to reach them. One of them was graduating two years early, which took up a lot of time and energy. After hours upon hours of studying, she finally graduated.  Taking a gap year beginning in 2020, the weirdest year of the century, she had no lack of other thi

Hi, everyone! It's Rebekah here, back again for another mini doll takeover post!
I'm really excited to show you what's been happening lately. Light4theLord and the dolls gave us - Melody and I - each half of the top shelf of the dollhouse. I've been spending a lot of time decorating and crafting and working on my side to look really pretty and aestheticy and dreamy! I've still got some minor things to work on - my shelves and pretty books, dream catcher over my bed, polaroids... anyways, let's start!

This is the very first thing you see when you walk into my room. *grins* My nicely positioned sandals at the foot of my bed - right where they always belong.

And speaking of my bed, I love my comfy bed so much! It's an AG mini box with fitted sheets, sheets and a comforter - all made from human people socks or clothing scraps.

I've got these super cute pillows - a big fluffy one and a silky smaller one.

I've also got this cute little throw and comforter set. It's so soft!

Now, if I just jump on here really quickly...

I wanna show you something really, really cool that I absolutely love!

Tassel garlands! aaaaahhhh! There's this strand of gold and white...

... and then this strand of pink and white (with gold washi tape accents!)...

... and this strand of pink and gold! All of these are DIYs that took about two hours to make. :)

This is my new desk that was made with foamboard, and my beanbag seat made out of a human sock and lentils. I'm really excited about buying some pretty aesthetic books and lining them up on my shelves! A laptop, some polaroids, gold letters....

This is one of my favorite parts of my whole room! See all those gold dots falling from the corner of the ceiling? I love it so much - each one is individually punched out from a sheet of vellum and individually glued on by hand!

This is a lovely little strip of washi tape that states 'Be Yourself'. And, it's right above...

My gold framed mirror! I like how it reminds me to be who I truly am and not to try to change myself to conform to other people.

That's all for today! I really enjoyed showing you my bedroom! What was your favorite part? Tell me in the comments down below!
