life ~ a photostory

~ a life update in the form of a photostory ~ this is truly Julia's aesthetic, entirely by accident, most of her closet is blue and white stripes. she's always either wearing her airplane propeller necklace or her dream necklace, wearing double dutch braids.  Once upon a time, there was a girl named Julia. She was a dreamer, one with a good imagination and wide horizons. Some of her happiest days as a teenager were spent taking photos of dolls, lying in the street to get the perfect angle. Her dolls were like built in friends, companions wherever she went, on trips and vacations and outings.  As she grew up, Julia grew busier and busier, and high school was a lot of work. But she had goals and she did everything she could to reach them. One of them was graduating two years early, which took up a lot of time and energy. After hours upon hours of studying, she finally graduated.  Taking a gap year beginning in 2020, the weirdest year of the century, she had no lack o...

In Front of the Big Tree with Tenney ~ A DOTM Post ~

Hello, my friends. It is Raven from Doll Notebook! I just got a new "sister!" Her name is Tenneyson Evangeline Grant. I was shy at first, as I am with many new people, but she was really nice and I warmed up to her quickly. I can already tell Tenney and I are going to be great friends. Anyway, my human (Jewel) had us pose in front of the big Christmas tree the other day. Soon we are going to set up our doll sized tree! I am very excited (and I confess, a little impatient) to decorate it.

Jewel showed us some of her first ornaments. Tenney liked this one^. She said it was really cute and she would definitely wear a dress like that. She is much more outspoken than I am. I think our personalities balance nicely, though.

I liked the little angel. It seemed so peaceful, resting up there in the high tree. I almost asked if I could have it, but thought better of it.

Jewel said our outfits really went well together. Here we are standing in front of the tree! Oooooh... if I have to wait any longer for Christmas, I might burst!

Jewel tried to make this last photo of me look old fashioned. What do you think? I'm not sure about it. I guess I would know better if I was a Beforever American Girl doll. I'll see you next week! Bye bye!
Yours.
