life ~ a photostory

~ a life update in the form of a photostory ~ this is truly Julia's aesthetic, entirely by accident, most of her closet is blue and white stripes. she's always either wearing her airplane propeller necklace or her dream necklace, wearing double dutch braids.  Once upon a time, there was a girl named Julia. She was a dreamer, one with a good imagination and wide horizons. Some of her happiest days as a teenager were spent taking photos of dolls, lying in the street to get the perfect angle. Her dolls were like built in friends, companions wherever she went, on trips and vacations and outings.  As she grew up, Julia grew busier and busier, and high school was a lot of work. But she had goals and she did everything she could to reach them. One of them was graduating two years early, which took up a lot of time and energy. After hours upon hours of studying, she finally graduated.  Taking a gap year beginning in 2020, the weirdest year of the century, she had no lack of other thi

My Style ~ A DOTM Post ~

Hello to all of you amazing Dolls N’ All readers! If you didn’t remember, I’m Kit, your August DOTM! Today’s post is going to feature my personal style and favorite outfits, and hopefully give you an insight into my personality! :)
This is my classic meet outfit! (The outfit that I arrived in.)

Did you know that now, all Kit dolls arrive in a different, green and red dress that is honestly too bright and flashy for me? Kit is supposed to come from the 1930’s, not the 70’s. But that is just me stating my opinion, and giving you some noteworthy fun facts, not trying to put down AG! :)

This is my striped nightie!

As with the meet outfit, the pajamas available for newer Kit dolls are also updated. The pajama option for Beforever Kit dolls showcases a green onesie. There’s nothing wrong with it, but I find my striped nightie lovely! :)

This is my chicken keeping outfit!

I love the overalls that are modeled in this outfit! It really is perfect for taking care of chickens (if you had any, which I don’t. But my best friend Maryellen does have a chicken named Theodore…) I love it because of its extreme casualness. I’m not a big person for dress up. And the Hawaiian-ish flowers on the shirt underneath give it a nice touch! :)

This is my floral print dress!

Made out of feek sack material, this has to be my all time favorite outfit! The colors are so bright, yet still subtle enough, and you can dress it up or down! :)
This is my reporter dress!

As well as the first two outfits I modeled, this dress has a newer Beforever version. Both of them are great, but I just haven’t had the chance to purchase the new one. I really like the pattern on this dress! (and in this photo, for some reason, the colors look extra brilliant!) :)

This is my school outfit!
Yes, I know some of you lazyheads out there are thinking that this is way to fancy for school. If you were me, though, and you loved school (especially writing), you would want to look your best for the teachers. (And I’m eyeing all of you teenagers out there who have that cute guy teacher that, admit it, you probably want to impress.) ;D

Well, that was it for today’s DOTM post! I hope you guys enjoyed it, and I’ll be back soon next week with some more fun content!
Toodles for now!

  3. Great post, Kit! I, too, am not a big fan of the new Kit meet outfit. I like the classic one better, and it fits your personality great. :) I think your school outfit is really nice and great for school! :)
