life ~ a photostory

~ a life update in the form of a photostory ~ this is truly Julia's aesthetic, entirely by accident, most of her closet is blue and white stripes. she's always either wearing her airplane propeller necklace or her dream necklace, wearing double dutch braids.  Once upon a time, there was a girl named Julia. She was a dreamer, one with a good imagination and wide horizons. Some of her happiest days as a teenager were spent taking photos of dolls, lying in the street to get the perfect angle. Her dolls were like built in friends, companions wherever she went, on trips and vacations and outings.  As she grew up, Julia grew busier and busier, and high school was a lot of work. But she had goals and she did everything she could to reach them. One of them was graduating two years early, which took up a lot of time and energy. After hours upon hours of studying, she finally graduated.  Taking a gap year beginning in 2020, the weirdest year of the century, she had no lack of other thi

Behind the Scenes: DNA Style!

Hey there, ya'll! It's another BTS post!
I've been crazy busy finishing up school (summer is coming, summer is coming - freedom to all students!!!!) and trying to get things together and also spend more time with my family.
But right now, I want to treat ya'll to a little 'Behind the Scenes: DNA Style'!
Let's get started!

You know you're a doll blogger when your room looks like ^ this during a photostory. XD Can you identify all of the dolls in the pileup? And who thinks they have spotted something that will be used in a future SOS post?

Alright, so this is the setup for a coming soon photostory.... we'll call it AITA for now.

This is also part of the at- I mean, the project I was working on that I commented about in the Quickish Snippets before.... has anyone been checking those? :)

This is another messy room scene from when Julie's birthday was going on... hey, what are those outfits down there? And yes, I realize that one of my pieces of artwork on the wall fell through the frame. XD
Also yes to the fact that that is my tennis shoe. :D
Who else can find some pretty weird stuff?
Did you know that I had a pet fish who has lived since November of 2014? XD
Oooh, and who likes the plane that is perched precariously on top of the stack of books on my messy desk? (note: the diffuser is not mine, it is merely on my desk because my sister's desk was messier than mine... too messy to safely put something on. XD)

Who liked those BTS photos? Are you looking forward to AITA? I have a few more pictures taken for SOS but the next part is so boring that I'm having a lack of motivation - get ten comments down below that say 'DO SOS NOW!' and I will. XD That's a challenge, BTW!

  2. DO SOS NOW!
    That being said...
Yes, things are literally SO messy when I'm doing a photostory! You WOULD think that a toy blogger prepares her models carefully before taking pictures, just as if they were acting it out, but in reality, I literally take one photo, toss the stuffed animal out of the way, take the next...*winces* But hey, I love the artwork on your wall!

Thanks! I love art and art class, so those are some of the things I did... :D

  3. SO looking forward to what you have planned, the BTS photos are awesome!
Also, Paisley got your letter in the mail, she was so over the moon excited when it arrived! Thank you so much Madi and light4thelord! Paisley put up all the contents in her room, and all the dolls think they're very inspirational!
You did a great job putting it together, and Paisley loved her letter too!
