life ~ a photostory

~ a life update in the form of a photostory ~ this is truly Julia's aesthetic, entirely by accident, most of her closet is blue and white stripes. she's always either wearing her airplane propeller necklace or her dream necklace, wearing double dutch braids.  Once upon a time, there was a girl named Julia. She was a dreamer, one with a good imagination and wide horizons. Some of her happiest days as a teenager were spent taking photos of dolls, lying in the street to get the perfect angle. Her dolls were like built in friends, companions wherever she went, on trips and vacations and outings.  As she grew up, Julia grew busier and busier, and high school was a lot of work. But she had goals and she did everything she could to reach them. One of them was graduating two years early, which took up a lot of time and energy. After hours upon hours of studying, she finally graduated.  Taking a gap year beginning in 2020, the weirdest year of the century, she had no lack of other thi

It was a typical Friday evening at the Dolls N' All residence. Everyone had finished their school and chores (well, except maybe Katie) and they were just doing their 'thing'.

Jules was hanging out on the loft bed above Madi's desk, with her XL designer journal beside her and a faraway look in her eyes, which meant she was designing another outfit in her head or thinking about a new pattern she wanted to try.

Madi, as usual was blogging. No more words needed.

Amy was listening to a new audiobook she had downloaded onto Madi's phone.

Katie and Sam were on the bench (which happened to be in a rather odd spot because of L4TL's brilliant not idea of redecorating) either talking or arguing. The latter is more likely.

Josie and Elly were just chilling in the clubhouse (and yes, Elly borrowed Madi's glasses to read with).

And uh, no one was in the loft.

Footsteps sounded on the hardwood floor of L4TL's bedroom as another doll crossed the bedroom.

It was then that a familiar voice rang out.

"Hey guys!"

"Mia!!" Katie exclaimed, jumping up and running to her friend.

They gave each other big hugs, right before the rest of the family ran to meet Mia.

She was peppered with questions.
"Why are you here?"
"How long are you staying?"
"Who brought you?"
"Where's Jaimie?"
Mia laughed and started answering the questions. "You know how Jaimie comes every week. She and L4TL played a board game this week instead of taking me out for a photoshoot. Well, this week, she said I could stay for the weekend since Light4theLord sees her every Sunday anyways. I brought my stuff with me too!"
Everyone was excited. Katie was happy that someone would play volleyball with her, Samantha was happy that Katie would stop pestering her about volleyball and soccer, Josie was excited to have someone try her new recipes, Elly was excited to have a weekend visitor, Madi was excited to get some pictures for her blog, Amy was excited to have someone to listen to audiodramas with, and Julie was especially excited that she'd have a new model to work with.

Elly and Mia watched movies on Madi's computer...

...they all tested out some of Josie's treats...

And they stayed up really late. Finally, Sam and Katie claimed the basket bed (which converts to a chair during the day), and Mia and Elly slept...

...in the loft bed!

Sweet dreams!

Trust me, you'll be seeing them... very, very soon. :) Also, we had some other special guests (see the plural form of guest?) that came over on Saturday. Mwhahaha... can you guess? I think not.... but try! It's a dare. :D
