life ~ a photostory

  ~ a life update in the form of a photostory ~ this is truly Julia's aesthetic, entirely by accident, most of her closet is blue and white stripes. she's always either wearing her airplane propeller necklace or her dream necklace, wearing double dutch braids.  Once upon a time, there was a girl named Julia. She was a dreamer, one with a good imagination and wide horizons. Some of her happiest days as a teenager were spent taking photos of dolls, lying in the street to get the perfect angle. Her dolls were like built in friends, companions wherever she went, on trips and vacations and outings.  As she grew up, Julia grew busier and busier, and high school was a lot of work. But she had goals and she did everything she could to reach them. One of them was graduating two years early, which took up a lot of time and energy. After hours upon hours of studying, she finally graduated.  Taking a gap year beginning in 2020, the weirdest year of the century, she had no lack of other thi

Birthday Gift Review #2
- From Ama and Grace -
Probably the biggest gift I got!
And it is....

The My Life As Doll Desk!

I just love it! I'll give you each piece in detail.

It was packaged very nicely where it shoes everything in the set.

First, the chair. On top of the chair was this gorgeous, really soft blanket/mat and the following: a 'fashion magazine', two sheets of stickers, and a journal.

And the super fuzzy really awesome, totally cute turquoise rolling chair! And it actually spins!

It's a tiny bit low, but I don't care! It's perfect with the desk.

<okay, change of location>
<moving back to L4TL's bedroom>
<ready to start again>

Alright, so I set up the desk (well, with a little help...).

And I'm ready for the piece by piece review!

More detail about the chair:

It doesn't roll, but it spins, so that's totally awesome! And, you can push it back just like any other chair.

The mat fits perfectly beside the chair and desk, so it works like that or..

Like a little lap blanket folded in half.

It came with an adorable lamp that turns on and off (well, duh!) like so: *click*

Voila, let there be light! It's pretty bright, too, so if I wake up a night and I need to work on something or have sudden inspiration, I have my lamp!

Okay, turn it off. *click*

There are SO many storage places in this thing!

Two cabinets that open out and shut pretty well (which means anything that needs to be hidden from Light4theLord's little mischievous sister can be safely tucked away in here. Like my camera!

Plus, two shelves for anything else!

These two drawers are so huge that I still haven't filled them up (and remember, I got this on the 21st.)

Now for the stock of paper/cardboard accessories!

A tiny 'photo booth' strip...

A sheet of stickers - I LOVE these!

Two invitations..

A U.S. map which REALLY comes in handy. When I'm studying, I can just look up and see the map!

Another fun sheet of stickers! I love stickers!

Oh, and the 'fashion magazine'.. inside...

Must be the new style or something. Hmm.. :D

Now, for my VERY FAVORITE part of the WHOLE set...

A MLA laptop! Like, a laptop! Now I can FINALLY start my blog, upload my own pictures, and EVERYTHING!

Opening the laptop...

Tada!

The screensaver is pink, with horses. How perfect!

And another picture of me and my laptop! Plus, the great thing is that I got to start using it on the 21st even though my birthday is on the 23rd. Mwhahahhaahaa...

So, here concludes the review! Ready?
