life ~ a photostory

~ a life update in the form of a photostory ~ this is truly Julia's aesthetic, entirely by accident, most of her closet is blue and white stripes. she's always either wearing her airplane propeller necklace or her dream necklace, wearing double dutch braids.  Once upon a time, there was a girl named Julia. She was a dreamer, one with a good imagination and wide horizons. Some of her happiest days as a teenager were spent taking photos of dolls, lying in the street to get the perfect angle. Her dolls were like built in friends, companions wherever she went, on trips and vacations and outings.  As she grew up, Julia grew busier and busier, and high school was a lot of work. But she had goals and she did everything she could to reach them. One of them was graduating two years early, which took up a lot of time and energy. After hours upon hours of studying, she finally graduated.  Taking a gap year beginning in 2020, the weirdest year of the century, she had no lack o...

100th Post!

100 Posts!! Yay!

I first thought about doing my 100th post about me and my dolls, until I realized that I wouldn't have done 100 posts if it weren't for the people who read and follow my blog! So this 100th post is dedicated to everyone who reads my blog, especially those on the following list:
1. 'Sandy Scherer', a.k.a. L (my cousin)

L has been one of my greatest encouragers on Dolls N' All: every time I see her, she's always excited about my last blog post, ready to listen to me ramble on about dolls (when everyone else is sick of me talking about it), contagiously imaginative, overjoyed to set up and play with me, takes pictures to show me, and the thing that touched me the most was told to me by our grandmother: The first thing L does when she's picked up from school is to look at my blog. THAT's true cousin love! :D She loves what I love, and always encourages me! She's let me borrow her stuff for multiple posts, and even let me borrow Noelle for an entire week! When I was semi-depressed about not being able to do Camp Dolls N' All, she told me,
'You might not be able to do as much as you wanted to, but you should at least try.' And I did. If it wasn't for her, I wouldn't have done it at all! I learned many lessons with that, and now I know how to improve upon it! L also reminds me not to put off doing a certain post that I told her I would, and she suggests great ideas! Thanks, L, for everything - you're the best!
2. Madison Lorfing
Madison, over at Delightful World of Dolls has been and is a great encourager, always commenting with really sweet things! I love her blog, and it's inspired me to do better! Madison, thanks for all of your wonderful comments! I love reading them every day!

3. My Blogger Followers
Katie, A Doll's Life, Melody Silverleaf, sandy scherer, Dawn C:
Thank you all for following me! I was super excited a few days ago when I finally realized that I had five followers- of course, that's not a lot compared to some people, but it's a lot for me! I never dreamed about improving Dolls N' All this much and actually having 4,701 pageviews, 291 comments, 5 followers, and 100 posts!

4. All my email subscribers!
I don't know each and everyone of you personally, but thank you so much for subscribing to Dolls N' All! (I finally figure out how to see how many I have- 9!)

5. PnA H/kaitlynrh1

Kaitlyn over at Kait's AG Crafts, you were the first person to ever comment on my blog, and I was so extremely excited when I saw my very first comment on May 12 of this year, nearly a year after I started. Kaitlyn also let me guest post on her doll craft camp and my theme was pets! I found it very fun!

A HUGE thank you to my family, too, for putting up with me for SOOOO long and all my dolls- especially to my older sister, who I share a room with: thank you for not getting mad every time when I dump out all my stuff,

thank you for putting up with my hundreds of pictures on the camera (when half of them were bad), thank you for listening to me when we're laying in our beds at night with the lights out (you don't really have much of a choice, of course), thank you for ignoring my long wishlist of dolls and pretending to listen,  thank you for letting me use Julie and Josie, thank you for reading my blog even though I've completely given you the oral version!

Thank you to my little brother (okay, younger.. :D ) for understanding about my dolls, for being willing to let me use your room for shots, for building me so many things (of which I will soon do a review- hint: think Lea's Rainforest house thingy!).

Thank you to my little sister, for not completely chewing my dolls to pieces and acquiring my love of dolls (though I'm pretty sure she'd rather eat them than play with them).

And thank you to everyone else who has read this blog from beginning to end (or even just this one post!)! Thank you, everyone!
