life ~ a photostory

She was a dreamer, one with a good imagination and wide horizons. Some of her happiest days as a teenager were spent taking photos of dolls, lying in the street to get the perfect angle. Her dolls were like built in friends, companions wherever she went, on trips and vacations and outings.  As she grew up, Julia grew busier and busier, and high school was a lot of work. Thursday's Transportation

Have you ever wanted an American Girl doll vehicle, and then realized that Julie's Volkswagen Beetle is now selling for $300.00?! Well, I did. Instead of spending that much, my brother built me a car!

The five girls piled in this afternoon and I got pictures! I love how Amy's just so relaxed, squished in between her sisters! The roof can come off too, to make it an open air ride! It's only supposed to hold four dolls, but who cares that there are five and a dog!

Here's Julie waving...

...the finished car...

...from the front... (sorry about Amy's eyes)...

...the five, er, six (counting their pup) in their open air ride...

...riding down the street...

... with the top up!

Hope you enjoyed it! If you'd like to know how to build one of your own, I can give you the instructions in another post- just ask! Bye 4 now!
Be sure to check back tomorrow for a Friday feature!
